Write a letter

ImageMost importantly, make your objections known to the Wakfield MDC Planning Department. Ideally this is best done by letter either to the Planning Department, or to the individual Planning Committee members. Your letter can be sent by email or by post. Please ensure you quote the Planning Application No: 07/01338/FUL.

It is best if letters are written in your own words, however, if you prefer you can use the current example shown on the Standard Letters page. It is very important to state in your letter that you are objecting to the planning application, and your reasons for doing so. Please note that you do not need to personally sign your letter, however it is best to sign or initial your letter, but do remember to insert your name address and the date. Remember, you do not have to live in the area to send in an objection!

We are looking for volunteers.

Can you help distribute leaflets in your local area? If you can please ring your local representative as we can always do with extra people.  See the "Main Menu" on the left and select "Your local P.W.A.G. contacts" or emails us with your details at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Support us with a sign.

Would you like to put up a sign in your garden showing that you object to a wind farm in Darrington? If there is enough interest we will be providing plackards to be placed in your garden or posters to place in your window to show how you support PWAG objectives. We will arrange for signs to be erected for you. Email us for details at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Support us with a financial donation.

Would you like to make a financial donation?  We need money to pay for advertising, administration costs and possibly legal fees in the future.  All donations would be gratefully received no matter how small.
