 Councillors from both parties show their support
Pontefract Windfarm Action Group decided to man a stall at the local Pontefract market. We were overwelmed by the support of the local people and collected hundreds of letters of objection. To help collect the letters of objections the Conservative councillor Geoff Walsh and the now previuos Labour councillor Trevor Izon were there to give their support. One of the rare occasions were councillors from different political parties were in total agreement by opposing this development.
