We have been told that the Highways Agency's has no objections to the proposed wind farm provided conditions are met.  These include road accident surveys and re-designing  and re-constructing the A1 Westfield Lane junction before work starts.

The developers have already submitted the changes to the site's proposed access from the A1.

W.M.D.C. planning department have said that on environmental matters they had now decided not to use a consultant and would rely instead on reports from their own specialists.

W.M.D.C. planning officer Becky Eades is expected to now start writing her report before it to goes to the planning committee.
