Banks Development erected the wind test mast on week commencing 10th March 2008.

This is a temporary structure that can remain for 3 years on land to the south west of Westfield Lane.

The site is to the west of the A1, south of Darrington and Pontefract and to the north of Wentbridge.

The proposed wind turbines will be more than twice the height of the test mast.
