Banks Developments have now submitted their planning application for the erection of six wind turbines, highway access junction improvement and ancillary development. The proposal is to build these between Moor Lane and Westfield Lane. If this plan is approved the wind turbines, taller than Ferrybridge Power Station chimneys, will be able to be seen for miles.
How can you formally object to the proposals?
The planning application may be inspected in the Wakefield MDC Planning Offices (address below) or can be viewed on the internet by clicking here. The planning authority is required to take into account local opinions on the scheme; however any objections need to be recorded formally and must meet certain criteria. |
